Shipping Tips
Shipping Candy in Hot Weather:
Bulkecandy wants to make sure you get your order in the same condition as it left us. Many chocolate items candies melt in temperatures over 75 degrees. Here are some tips to make sure you get unmelted product.
1) Ship to your Business/Work Place/Commercial (non residential address)Shipping to your business is extremely beneficial in getting your order safely. UPS delivers to businesses throughout the day and reserves residental deliveries to the end of the day. Some UPS drivers leave packages outside of your home leaving your package subceptible to heat. Prevent this by shipping to a commercial address and save money in the process!
2) Add Ice PacksAdding an ice pack to orders will help prevent melting. We highly recommend during the summer/warm months to take advantage of these low-priced ice packs. If you're not sure whether you need ice packs, please look at Tomorrow's National Heat Index to determine if neccesary.
3) Use Expedited Shipping
If you have product that will melt, we highly recommend you using an expedited service via UPS. All expedited orders include ice packs automatically.
4) Require SignatureUPS drivers can leave packages unattended if no one is available to accept your package based off of their own discretion. We have no control of their actions and are not responsible for any lost and/or damaged goods. Please add "UPS Require Signature" to ensure your package gets signed for. Alternatively, if you can ship to your business/work, this option isn't necessary.
